Job Description
The Service Technician is responsible for safety, quality, and work associated with Get Ready and refurbishment activities to all modular products. The product lines include Mobile Office Trailers, Section Modular Offices, Container Offices, and Storage Containers.
Work Environment
Work in an outdoor yard and inside trailers, performing repairs at the Abbotsford yard/facility. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a family-friendly feel. Shift hours are 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday) with limited overtime required. Summer hours may adjust to 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Employees must wear steel-toe boots, long pants, and shirts at all times. The company will supply a hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and goggles.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and modifications to all products, including framing and finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and all other facets of modular building repair.
Work with other service technicians to clean units upon arrival for customer readiness.
Work in trailers, the shop, and the yard.
Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates with high first-time quality.
Load and unload materials and products as needed.
Maintain proper inventory levels of all equipment, tools, and parts needed for service tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized working area inside and out, including lawn, parking lot, and building.
Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe working habits.
Paint trailer exterior as needed.
Perform office maintenance and repair as needed.
Check old equipment according to spec sheets and remove from stock.
Clean trailers and all products/materials inside, including floors, windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and doors.
Essential Skills
Experience as a Service Technician within construction, restoration, or remediation.
6+ months of carpentry experience.
Basic plumbing experience.
Knowledge of hand and power tools (saws, drills, ratchets, screwdrivers).
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
