Job Description
To park and return guests vehicles promptly, courteously and safely, and to provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Park guest’s vehiclesGreet and welcome guests to the HotelDisplay ability to provide directions to guestsDisplay ability to manage high guest flow while operating vehicles in safe and careful mannerRetrieve guest’s vehiclesAssist guests with luggage when necessaryAssist Bell staff when neededComplete Daily Valet LogDisplay ability to complete vehicle inspection and vehicle taggingAccept other special duties as required by managementDemonstrate knowledge of Bell staff functions to assist during peak operationsDisplay the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissionsDisplay ability to provide guests with local and hotel activities and informationDemonstrate proper Omni phone answering standards
To assist in the transport and storage of guests’ luggageTo properly “log” all trips originating from the “Bell Stand.”Knowledge about daily events happening within each hotel.Responsible for a clean and “smart” appearance of uniforms.Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities.Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the front drive and lobby area.Interact with every guest using Omni Standards.Fully understand and implement “Moments of Service”.Call taxi for guests as needed.Direct guests to the Front Desk.Inform leaders of any challenges in the process.Accept other special duties as required by management.
Qualifications
Valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license
Clean MVR and 19 years of age or older
Excellent driving record
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and with manual transmission
Strong customer service skills
Ability to understand and speak basic English in order to communicate with guests and co-workers
Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time, walk quickly and run
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, wind, and heat
Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays
Ability to drive both manual and automatic
