Description
As a Performance Account Executive at Amazon Advertising, you will operate at the strategic intersection of e-commerce and digital advertising, driving revenue growth through a dual focus on strategic account management and new business development. This hybrid position combines strategic account management with new business development across the Benelux region. You will own and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted strategic advisor for full-funnel advertising solutions. The role demands a data-driven approach to identify upselling opportunities and growth strategies within existing accounts, while simultaneously pursuing new business opportunities. You'll be instrumental in shaping advertising strategies from awareness to conversion, leveraging Amazon's comprehensive suite of performance marketing and e-commerce solutions to drive client success.
Key job responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition while growing and retaining existing client revenue streams. Responsible for achieving annual and quarterly sales quotas.
Develop and execute strategic advertising solutions across Amazon's multi-platform ecosystem
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders
Lead data-driven decisions to optimize client advertising campaigns and strategies
Collaborate with internal teams (retail,advertiser success TEAMS) to drive client success
Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends and client needs
Regular travel required within the Benelux region including to Belgium

Basic Qualifications
Proven track record in consultative B2B sales, preferably in digital advertising or e-commerce
Deep understanding of performance marketing, programmatic advertising, and full-funnel marketing approaches
Experience in managing enterprise-level client relationships and C-suite stakeholders
Demonstrated success in both new business development and strategic account management
Strong grasp of e-commerce principles, digital advertising technologies, and marketplace dynamics
Data-driven mindset with experience in ROI measurement and marketing attribution
Proven ability to work with CRM systems and develop accurate sales forecasts
Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in English required; Dutch language skills strongly preferred
