Overview
Position Summary Details:
The Maintenance staff supports a building or a facility by doing things like changing light bulbs, cleaning spills, emptying trash, and doing light mechanical maintenance. They will also do regular housekeeping to keep areas clean and safe. The Maintenance staff will report safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a Supervisor. They will also keep track of and report on supplies inventory. The Maintenance staff must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Essential Functions:
Initiates, plans, and schedules the work, activities, and resources of crews or employees
Instructs and trains employees in the performance of their duties and in the proper use of equipment
Responsibilities:
Coordinates work with trades and others on joint projects.
Evaluates the work, activities, and work resources of crews or employees in the assigned division/area.
Screens new work, confirms work details and determines appropriate action for work.
Schedules and assigns active work orders and monitors backlog, staffing requirements, staffing capabilities, and previous work carryover.
Writes specifications, and orders and maintains an inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Duties will include:
Repairs and Maintenance to all Equipment in all Facilities.
Responding to spills, broken equipment, and other emergency situations.
Assisting in all emergencies as needed – including after hours.
Accountable for working on your own and finishing tasks in a timely matter.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
