Role Purpose
Performs operational services and analysis across multiple related functions.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management and Services:
Implements operational policies and procedures in accordance with the guidelines set forth by management and the objectives of each project to enable efficient operational support and mitigate potential risks
Helps guide support levels with knowledge on market conditions, industry trends, product knowledge, and possible solutions
Develops and maintains relationships with SMEs (internal and external) to support their operational needs
Supports assigned area to establish their operational needs and then assists with strategizing to carry out services
Performs highly analytical procedures, assisting with budgeting, tracking, headcount, and regional spend analysis
Systems and Data Services:
Supports, implements, and maintains all software and application solutions for assigned business areas
Supports module testing for system updates; escalates potential issues and possible resolutions to leadership
Provides end-to-end functional/ analytical support for business applications
Resolves system and process issues and incidents; supports the business/IT to resolve open, moderate-to-complex issues
Develops system solutions and improvements to all assigned and related project executions as well as for production acceptance testing activities (ATP)
Prepares and analyzes daily and monthly metrics to monitor the team's performance and highlight areas of improvement
Performs complex data analytics, partners cross-functionally to uncover trends and develop potential solutions to mitigate risks
Experiences/Education - Required
Operations Management and Services:
Experience performing daily activities within operational services; begins to review and analyze own work for quality, productivity, and timeliness
Experience implementing and suggesting process improvements
Experience performing basic issue resolution; gains exposure to the resolution of complex issues
Displays in-depth knowledge of Corning's control environment and procedures
Proactively engages to build relationships with business and functional partners
Experience supporting day-to-day operational services program
Systems and Data Services:
Experience supporting the design and implementation of system processes in accordance with Corning policies and standard operating procedures
Experience in fulfilling a range of maintenance and service requests to resolve application issues
Leverages knowledge of optimum system performance settings to evaluate performance and resolve issues
Experience suggesting process and resolution improvement activities
Experience performing basic issue resolution; gains exposure to the resolution of complex issues
Experiences/Education - Desired
Experience participating in projects; gains exposure to basic project management skills
Demonstrated initiative in building relationships with colleagues from multiple areas within Corning
Familiarity with Corning's standards, processes, and tools
Experience navigating the organization to find internal resources and tools
Operations Management and Services:
