Key responsibilities:
Objective of role is to review and track Federal Aviation regulations within the operation to reduce risk. Conduct investigations related to violations and collaborate with the safety and process team on compliance risks and process improvements for mitigation purposes.
To ensure compliance within the daily Scheduling operation Review and update all FAR legalities
Investigate FAR violations and work closely with Inflight Safety and Corporate Safety teams for voluntary disclosure processes
Oversee performance and development for a team of Crew Schedulers
Track records of all FAR violations, overseeing status and creating process improvements
Partner with Process Quality and Training (PQ&T) and automation teams to mitigate compliance risks through education and technological enhancements
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
3+ years of aviation operational experience
or-
1+ years of crew scheduling experience and 2+ years of process improvement and corrective actions (with successful completion of F.A.R assessment)
Strong ability to promote inclusiveness and employee development
Strong verbal communication skills with ability to conduct training on regulatory topics
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Must have the ability to identify a potential inflight crew scheduling F.A.R violation and have the ability to provide suggestions on corrective action
Ability to function in fast paced, high stress environment
Follow a systematic approach in organizing multiple legalities
Must pass F.A.R assessment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
