Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This is a first-shift position with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 6 AM to 10 AM. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders, especially when programming.
Use various measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy of parts.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist with Milling & Turning experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings and use MasterCam to create CNC programs.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience with CNC Mills & Lathes.
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Experience with offsets & tool changes.
Skill in using precision measuring equipment.
Troubleshooting and making repairs to equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, or plastic.
Experience with MasterCam programming.
Ability to set up machines and choose tooling.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00/hr.
