Licensed Professional Counselor Job Description

Stonewall Memorial Hospital District is searching for a skilled licensed professional counselor to join OUR TEAM.

In this role, you will be responsible for treating patients who have been struggling with mental, behavioral, and emotional health challenges. This starts with identifying the exact nature of the patients issues. Then, you will create personalized strategies that help the individual work towards their desired mental healthcare outcomes. T

o do well in this role, you will need to have a strong background in counseling and mental health. Potential Candidate should have a masters degree and a current license. Additionally, its essential that you have the interpersonal skills necessary to engender the patients' trust that allows you to address and resolve their most intimate mental health concerns.

Licensed Professional Counselor Responsibilities:

• Meet with patients to determine the exact nature of their mental health concerns
• Provide targeting counseling designed to help the individual overcome their problems
• Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provide patients with the best possible care
• Remain warm and engaged through the duration of every patients counseling session
• Develop a course of therapy for treatment
