Job Title: Field Service Manager 100% Travel Nationwide

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Manager to oversee the installation and maintenance projects of conveyor systems at client sites. The ideal candidate will manage projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide hands-on assistance to the team. This role requires extensive travel and strong leadership abilities. Travel will be coordinated and paid for. Also comes with per diem of $60/day.

Responsibilities

  • Manage conveyor system installation and maintenance projects at client sites

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal teams

  • Provide hands-on assistance to Millwrights & Electricians on-site to ensure proper decommissioning & installation of conveyor systems

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards

  • Supervise on-site project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure project and client compliance

  • Resolve any project-related issues and develop contingency plans when necessary

  • Supervise and instruct field service technicians to ensure the scope of work is being met on time, within budget, and to client expectations

  • Provide training and support to clients on conveyor system operations and maintenance

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and adherence to safety requirements at client facilities, such as Amazon. The role requires standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Clinton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
