HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Store Growth Initiatives, Store Operations Intern is responsible for assisting in executing the company’s retail growth strategy across the U.S. and Canada, by supporting store technology, omnichannel & RFID, and store openings and fleet optimizations.
This role reports into Manager, Retail Growth Initiatives and is based in our Atlanta, GA office in our on-site work environment.
40% Field Technology
Assist in enhancing and deploying store technology solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and improve operational efficiency
Work with cross-functional teams to support pilots, rollouts, and change initiatives, including creating training materials and assisting with communication plans
Gather feedback, analyze data, and help maintain product roadmaps that address field needs and support business objectives
35% RFID & Omnichannel
Assist in gathering feedback and conducting research for RFID enhancements
Contribute to development of project plans and timelines for new RFID initiatives, oversee pilot, rollout, and hyper care
Help address RFID-related challenges such as technology issues, inventory discrepancies, or process concerns by providing potential solutions and communicating risks to leadership
25% Store Opening & Fleet Optimizations
Assist with planning and execution of store openings, relocations, and closures by collaborating with cross-functional teams and field partners
Identify and analyze trends in operational challenges, partnering with leadership to provide recommendations for improvement
Produce and communicate recurring and ad hoc reports, summarizing findings to support decision-making for store projects and ensure timely progress tracking
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF: (REQUIREMENTS SECTION)
Must have:
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)
Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master’s degree program at the time of the internship (certificate programs are not eligible)
Availability to start on the designated start date in May
Availability to work for a minimum of 10 out of the 11 weeks of the defined internship period which runs from May-August
Preferred skills and experience:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including foundational knowledge of Excel
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in retail or customer service is a plus
