Amazon Field Marketing Manager, Demand Generation, Global Campaigns in Austin, Texas

Description

Are you an experienced field marketing manager with public sector experience? Are you interested in how technology and innovations like generative AI can be used to solve business problems and eager to shape the way organizations and federal agencies modernize?

You will own development and execution of go-to-market campaigns to increase thought leadership, customer engagement, lead acquisition, sales opportunities, and market share. You will support research initiatives around our customers and select industries, including aerospace and satellite. An ability to develop, execute, and measure impactful digital marketing campaigns is a must-have with preference for proficiency in digital platforms like Marketo and SplashThat. You will also be working alongside Sales, Business Development, Public Relations, and other Marketing leaders to deliver campaigns, demand generation efforts and new products and services like generative AI to IT decision makers and influencers, mission owners, and C-suite customers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, account-based marketing tactics, internal communications, website development, social media, and paid media. This role will support our US Public Sector team leaders in the strategy, planning and execution of programs focused on the wide range of customers across multiple agencies and industries.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive the development of demand generation marketing programs, generative AI solutions and announcements, research, and go-to-market strategies for AWS Public Sector, including US aerospace and satellite customers

• Provide content support for global campaigns, including customization of campaign assets to reflect specific use cases and relevant AWS products and solutions tailored for specific industries.

• Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, focused on key AWS priority solution themes like generative AI, and topics that are designed to acquire and nurture customer leads

• Develop and execute digital strategies and digital marketing outreach/customer touchpoints (i.e. event registration pages) to drive business goals, position AWS as a cloud services leader, and measurably impact our customers missions

• Dive deep into data to provide visibility into marketing campaign results, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive strategic decision making for optimized campaign strategies.

A day in the life

The ideal candidate has an interest for technology in the public sector, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging. A proven track record of working within the industry (including Public Sector and preferably with Aerospace and Satellite customers), delivering data-driven results, and collaborating across matrixed organizations are must-haves.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

  • Experience in the aerospace and satellite industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
