Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Cardiovascular Imaging Center Coordinator, you will be responsible for multi-functional front and back office duties requiring great skill in prioritization. You will work closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies while also promoting optimal unit operations. You will adhere to the customer service standards while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
You will be responsible for processing patients upon arrival to the Imaging Center
You will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls and scheduling procedures/exams
You will be responsible for preparation for future patient schedules
You will service as a point person for the processing of health information between the referring office, CVIC, and health information management (HIM)
You will communicate pertinent issues to technical staff, Clinical Coordinators, Managers, and Directors in a timely manner
You will utilize open, professional communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written) to directly interact with physicians, patients, guests, and other health team members
Experience
Minimum 1 year general secretarial responsibilities (typing, filing, etc).
Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in healthcare industry – preferred
Education
- Completion of a Secretarial/Administrative Assistant vocational program – preferred
