Epic Systems Support:Deploy and maintain Epic IT endpoint environments, including updates, performance tuning, and optimization.Monitor performance metrics and resolve issues within Epic and integrated systems.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to align Epic functionality with organizational workflows.Systems Administration:Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux), storage systems (SAN, NAS), and networking equipment.Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other critical IT infrastructure components.Deploy and support Epic Hyperspace client, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.Manage virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V, with a focus on high availability and fault tolerance.Ensure the security and compliance of IT systems, adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.Infrastructure Optimization:Support high-performance computing environments, including hybrid cloud integration.Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and rapid recoverability.Optimize system performance through proactive capacity planning and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Splunk.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and configurations.Team Collaboration and Mentorship:Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement technology solutions.Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on complex issues.Project Leadership:Lead IT infrastructure projects, particularly those involving Epic implementations, data migrations, or system upgrades.Work with vendors to procure, implement, and maintain hardware and software solutions.
