Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Camp Ranger in Avonmore, Pennsylvania
Location: Camp Skymeadow located in Avonmore, Armstrong County, PA
Starting salary: $40,000
Housing is provided and Camp Ranger is required to live on-site

Position Summary:
As the Camp Ranger, you will work with staff and volunteers to ensure a successful, high-quality camping experience and a safe and healthy camp environment for all.
The essential functions of this position include the following:
- Year-round camp property maintenance to include snow removal, clearing trails, maintaining roads, mowing, and tree/brush removal
- Year-round maintenance of camp buildings, pool, equipment, vehicles, and ranger residence
- Maintain cleanliness of camp buildings and grounds
- Supervise camp maintenance staff
- Maintain camp boundary markers
- Manage camp visitors and maintain alertness for trespassers
Know and enforce policies and emergency procedures
Requirements:
- Prior Camp Ranger or Facility Maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing
- Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, tractors, log splitter, and various power tools
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and customer focused
- Non-traditional work hours with frequent evening and weekend work required
- Company truck provided
- Housing is provided and Camp Ranger is required to live on-site

Working Conditions:
- Position requires occasional-frequent evening and weekend hours
- Ability to work in outdoor settings and in all weather conditions
Occasional -- frequent travel required throughout western PA
