IBM Business Analyst ADM in Bari, Italy
Introduction
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, expert in processes and procedures typical of the Banking sector, you'll participate in projects that will promote the Digital Transition. You will work with customers' business users and SMEs, other analysts, project managers in order to share strategic vision of the Digital Transformation, define macro-goals, individuate IT artifact that can boost the Transition and collect and formalize business requirements. Moreover, you will work with project managers and technical engineers, developers, AI experts, to design and build IT solutions based on the business needs.
Your primary responsibilities include:
support the end-user adoption;
understand and embrace the customer Digital Transformation;
gather business requirements for the IT services that support the Transformation;
write technical documentation;
collaborate with PMs to functionally drive the developments team;
participate in work in progress meetings.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As a Business Analyst with experience in supporting Digital Transformation, we are looking for experienced candidates with the following background and skills:
Experience as a senior Business Analyst, Functional Analyst and Technical Analyst in the area of Digital Transition in Banking sectors
Good understanding of the business needs of the organizations and ability to interact with client's SME in order to define business objectives and gather business requirements
Ability to produce high-quality documentation about solution design
Ability to interact with the customer to provide regular updates about the work in progress
Ability to reverse engineer complex processes and large programs and investigate business logic in the absence of specific documentation
Ability to perform data exploring and derive business rules and correlations directly from data
Solid technical background related to
IBM z/OS System - Mainframe
programming languages Cobol, JCL, SQL
knowledge of OPC batch management
knowledge of RDBMS Db2 for z/OS and related user interface clients SQuirreL and QMF for Windows
knowledge of the IBM IDZ IDE and, preferably, the Charisma plug-in and the Grappa configuration management system
Intermediate knowledge of English language, level B2
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Functional knowledge in the following areas is appreciated:

Current Accounts and Conditions
Funds - Corresponding Bank
Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
