Judicial Courier I

Position available with the Court of Appeal, First Circuit. Starting salary range $24,093-$25,560 or commensurate with experience. Work will be in Baton Rouge.

Requirements:

• High School diploma plus one year of related work experience;

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive own vehicle to various destinations;

• Ability to transfer and lift heavy loads and boxes; and

• Ability to work a regular M-F schedule.

Applicant must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Duties include: transporting records and other legal documents, performing routine custodial and maintenance duties, receiving deliveries and supplies, assisting in mail outs, making daily mail runs, stocking and maintaining court supplies throughout courthouse, and performing routine clerical duties.
