We are looking for a Designer II for Mens Nike Sportswear Create. The ideal designer is a curious observer, eager participant and a cultural sponge – seeking insights to solve problems. You have a deep understanding of Culture, Music, Art and Streetwear. You leverage your outstanding design skills with creative problem solving to create innovative solutions that elevate the experience and key benefits relevant to the athletes and communities we serve. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In the Mens Nike Sportswear Create category , you will work on designs that push the possibilities of sports and culture through footwear. We expect you to explore new opportunities, take risks, and change the game! In your day to day, you will engage with project teammates on researching, gaining insights, problem solving around performance and manufacturing, working with consumers and creating a vast range of creative and beautiful solutions, that are also sustainable and considerate of cost. With each project, you are expected to also participate and present the work in informal and formal reviews. In addition to individual project work, the Designer II will also collaborate and engage the innovation partners and consumers.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a Senior Designer, Footwear, you will be working hand in hand with a large project team of different experts (engineers, researchers, scientists, marketing, sustainability, materials, costing, etc), collaborate within the design community (industrial designers, materials, color, graphics, computational, etc.).
This role reports directly to the Senior Design Director Mens NSW Create Footwear

WHAT YOU BRING
Design Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in product design or relevant design degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
4-6 yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products
Passion for Culture, Music, Art, Sneakers, Streetwear
Previous footwear design experience preferred or experience in other fields
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills,
Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawings
Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project
Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus
3D knowledge, and AI experience a plus
