Job Title: Robotics Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Robotics Technician with proficiency in KUKA or FANUC programming to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated processes, ultimately contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our products. We will also send this candidate to training to get certified at KUKA or FANUC based on need.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate KUKA or FANUC robotic systems to perform various tasks in the production process.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to robotic systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new robotic technologies and automation solutions into existing processes.
Train and mentor production staff on the proper operation and maintenance of robotic equipment.
Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and programming changes, to maintain accurate records.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics technology and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Skills
KUKA or FANUC Certification
At least three years of experience in programming and maintaining KUKA or FANUC robotic systems in an industrial setting
Strong understanding of PLCs, HMI interfaces, and other control systems relevant to robotic automation
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
