We are looking for an Analytics Program Manager to be part of Middle Mile supply and routing optimization team.

As part of this team you would work on program management for supply optimization, work with business stakeholders to drive process improvement, generate ideas, and validate entitlement based on true production behavior. You will draw upon advanced analytical, problem solving skills, and passion for delivering business insights and analytics through long form documents to senior leadership. You will have broad technical skills to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. As a multi-discipline leader, the buck will stop with you - you will work as part of the engineering organization.

This role will have high level visibility due to the nature of the analyses being maintained, built, and the network impact of analysis conducted. This role has great exposure to a broad scope that can really help shape the future of operational fulfillment and promotes career progression.

Key job responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing data driven improvements to Amazon's transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products for our customers

  • End-to-end ownership of requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementation of cost-effective solutions for Amazon transportation network

  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in operations, technology and planning to define strategic roadmaps while keeping the impact of the solution to all stakeholders in mind

  • Designing and implementing feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes

  • Ability to deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future

  • Monitor key performance indicators across nodes and analyze their drivers to determine the level and type of engagement required based on the risk to customer experience and utilization of technology

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
