Position Description
Position Summary
Plans, directs and manages several commercial construction projects at a time. The Civil Project Estimator Manager is a take-charge leader who has a strong customer focus, a sense of urgency, a concern and respect for safety, and the desire to achieve quality in the final product.
Essential Functions

- Accountable for client project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning focused on achieving high quality, site safety, and aggressive schedules
- Facilitates building a collaborative team on each project -- ability to work with a diverse group of trade contractors to build and lead a cohesive team that can successfully execute a project by meeting, or ultimately exceeding, schedule, budget and quality
- Communicates effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Builds, meets and drives project schedules by incorporating industry leading techniques such as Lean Construction
- Forecasts project cost and profitability
- Reviews drawings and submittals
- Ensures the correct materials are delivered to the project
- Estimates, plans and schedules construction projects
- Documents, negotiates and processes change orders
- Other duties as assigned
