Concordia Language Villages Custodian - Housekeeping in Bemidji, Minnesota

Cleaning Duties of assigned areas: -Sweep and mop floors -Vacuum carpets -Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures and showers -Wash beds, bed boxes, drawers, reachable windows, and walls as necessary -Sanitize mattresses -Put linens on beds as appropriate for the next occupancy -Dust fixtures and furniture as necessary -Empty wastebaskets and take all trash to the collecting point -Stock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. to designated areas -Clean doorway entrances and mats inside and outside of buildings -Report maintenance repair needs -Washing linens for residences -Collect dirty linen from residences -Wash and dry linens in the laundry room -Fold and distribute clean linen to residences and linen storage as appropriate Lost & Found (L&F) -Receive, wash as necessary, label and secure items found or turned in from villages on-site and off-site -Identify owners of lost items through identification on items or through descriptions submitted by those seeking lost items -Prepare L&F items for mailing when owners have been identified -Make and take phone calls for L&F items Benefits: Concordia Language Villages is proud to offer numerous benefits to its employees, including -Health Insurance -Flexible Savings Account -Vision Insurance -Dental Insurance -Preventative Chiropractic Program -Retirement Plan -Long-Term Disability Insurance (full-time only) -Life Insurance (full-time only) -Planned Time Off (PTO) starting at 18 days/year -13 paid holidays, including time off between ---Christmas and New Year -Paid parental leave -Extended Illness Benefit (EIB) -Earned Sick and Safe Leave -Up to 100% tuition with discounts and scholarships at Concordia College and Concordia Language Villages. -Up to 50% tuition discount with Oak Grove Lutheran Schools -Up to 100% tuition discounts with participating partners: CIC-TEP, ELCA schools, and Tuition Exchange Inc.
