Your role at Clorox:

Starting Pay Rate - $36.89/hr
Schedule - Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
The maintenance technician performs work to keep mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment in operating condition and repair. Duties may include assembly, installation, inspection, testing, operation, cleaning, replacement and repair of industrial machinery or equipment.
In this role, you will:
Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
Modify, maintain, or repair electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning
Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
Install , replace or change machine parts and electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, according to production specifications
Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, inspection and lubrication of machines, machine parts and other equipment according to specified procedures
Assemble, install, test or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment or machinery using hand or power tools
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical writing, equipment or fixtures using testing devices
Diagnose malfunctioning systems or components to identify hazards, defects or the need for adjustment or repair
Replace or repair wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools
Construct or fabricate parts according to specifications
What we look for:
Industrial maintenance experience preferred
Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience
