Philips Global Supplier Account Manager in Best, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to be at the forefront of building and executing supplier and portfolio strategy for Image Chain products and associated services, building a strong network with key stakeholders, with the primary objective to optimize the supply base and total cost of ownership, closing, owning, and monitoring supplier agreements, leveraging mutual synergy opportunities and developing suppliers to perform at their best. You are the connection point at a Global level for Factory and work closely with the medical imaging business units and markets, with the goal to drive compliance, standardization and cost competitiveness as well as driving competitive advantage for Philips with the introduction of innovative propositions.

You are a part of a dynamic and ambitious global category team of Global Supplier Account Managers where you are the strategist to lead and drive the portfolio and assigned suppliers strategy in strong collaboration with key stakeholders within the BU’s, markets, Product Sourcing, R&D, Supplier Quality, Legal and Operations.

You are responsible for:

  • The end-to-end management of a challenging Image Chain product portfolio to enhance our Health Systems offering.

  • In close collaboration with the Business Units, drive the definition and implementation of the global procurement strategy and policy with a 3–5-year sightline to drive impact for both the bottom and top line.

  • Responsible for supplier evaluation and management within the assigned scope.

  • Identifying supplier capabilities, performance, and technologies by conducting competitive assessments and benchmarks of existing and potential suppliers.

  • Ensuring effective communication and representation of Category strategy, programs, and performance to all key stakeholders.

  • Leading price negotiations for assigned supplier portfolio, including gathering relevant benchmark data, and supplier market intelligence.

  • Working together with cross-functional teams to program & manage the execution of supply base change projects via funnel and Source2Contract DfX event management.

  • Responsible for contract management within the assigned scope (develop, maintain, and execute).

  • Leading business review meetings and supplier evaluations for the assigned scope.

  • Ensuring related risks are controlled and mitigated including quality and regulatory compliance for all new supplier deployment as relevant.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in a relevant domain (business, procurement, economics, etc.).

  • Preferably 10 years of procurement and/or commercial experience.

  • Experience in a production environment (Medical/FDA and/or EU-MDR regulated preferred).

  • Solid program management skills to drive category-related strategic objectives from end to end.

  • Strong result orientation and business acumen.

  • Can-do attitude and be willing to work under high pressure to deliver impact.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Change leadership skills within a complex, global matrix organization.

  • Lead & coordinate cross-functional teams effectively (“being the orchestrator of the team”).

  • Full working proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
