Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, and performing minor carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with building automation systems, time management skills, and the ability to operate various equipment. The role requires the ability to disassemble and reassemble fixtures, fans, pumps, and other building-related equipment while demonstrating general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Change HVAC filters and clean coils.

  • Replace valves, assemble valves, repair sensors, and perform pipe replacements.

  • Conduct minor carpentry repairs on floors, doors, and furniture.

  • Unclog and fix toilets, urinals, and sinks.

  • Manage building automation systems and ticket ordering.

  • Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors on site while managing daily routine tasks.

  • Disassemble and reassemble fixtures, fans, pumps, and HVAC equipment.

  • Operate forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift.

  • Use a personal computer, cell phone, and electronic tablet efficiently.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and customer expectations while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Support non-customary schedules and weekend work as needed.

Essential Skills

  • HVAC maintenance and repair.

  • General plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.

  • Understanding of building systems and operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and Life Safety Systems.

  • Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift.

  • Proficiency in using personal computers, cell phones, and electronic tablets.

  • Time management and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial building maintenance experience.

  • CFC Universal certification.

  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC, and light electrical work.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and complete general maintenance tasks.

  • Basic computer skills for reporting, researching, and communication.

Work Environment

This is a second shift position in an office environment. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and professional appearance with casual dress requirements. A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
