Installation & Maintenance Technician – Hands-On Work, Career Growth, and Great Pay

We’re the top-performing location of one of the nation’s leading providers of premium blinds, shades, and shutters, and we’re looking for a skilled technician who values quality work, customer satisfaction, and career growth.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: $24-25 per hour

  • Bonus Potential: Earn 2% commission on each sale/install

  • First-Year Earnings Up to $69,000

Your Role as an Installation & Maintenance Technician

  • Install and service high-end blinds, shades, and shutters in residential and commercial spaces

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on existing window treatments, troubleshooting any issues on-site

  • Inspect and test installations for durability, safety, and flawless functionality

  • Consult with clients to provide expert advice and tailored solutions

  • Utilize specialized tools and technology to ensure precise measurements and a professional finish

  • Work independently or on a team, managing your schedule and tasks efficiently

  • Communicate with the team via Slack and other tools to ensure seamless job execution

  • Start each day at our Mount Olive location, prepping your vehicle with the necessary tools and materials

  • Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction and address any additional service needs

Who We’re Looking For

  • Hands-On & Detail-Oriented: You take pride in precision and craftsmanship

  • Problem-Solver: You can troubleshoot issues on the spot and adapt to unique installation challenges

  • Customer-Focused: Experience working with high-end clients and providing professional service is a plus

  • Strong Communicator: You can explain product features, installation details, and maintenance needs to clients with confidence

  • A Team Player: You work well with others and take ownership of your responsibilities

  • Physically Capable: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with tools safely

What You’ll Need

  • Prior experience preferred but not required: Sales, customer service, installations, carpentry, maintenance, or related fields are a plus

  • Previous experience installing window treatments is highly valued

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record

  • Ability to pass a driver-specific background check
