Housekeeping/Laundry Aide
What You'll Do:
As a Laundry Aide, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the laundry operations, ensuring that linens, clothing, and other items are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of our residents. This entry-level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long-term care and its many career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of a Laundry Aide:
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other items according to established procedures and schedules
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and folding machines
Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications of a Lundry Aide:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
