Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Member and Provider Support Specialist to join our Client Experience team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guidance and support to our members and providers through various communication channels, including telephone, email, and online messaging systems. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for our clients by addressing their inquiries and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Guidance: Offer clear and accurate information to members and providers via telephone, email, and online messaging systems.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and comprehensive call logs documenting the nature of each correspondence and the resolution provided.

  • Technical Support: Assist with resetting passwords, updating employee information, and sending necessary information as needed.

  • Member Assistance: This section addresses questions about shopping for health insurance benefits, re-ordering ID cards, and updating account information.

  • Inquiry Resolution: Research member and provider inquiries that cannot be immediately resolved and ensure timely follow-up communication.

  • Escalation: Escalate and transfer inquiries to appropriate departments or individuals when necessary.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Client Experience team, internal business partners, and vendors to investigate and resolve questions and concerns.

  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with the Client Experience Manager to develop personal goals and track progress toward their completion.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with health insurance benefits and customer service practices.

  • Experience with call logging and documentation processes.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, particularly HIPAA, is preferred.

  • Proficiency in using various communication platforms and basic IT troubleshooting skills.
