Job Description
We are seeking to hire two general laborers that will be trained as entry level Telecom Techs, most of the work is in the greater Salt Lake City area (traveling up to Ogden and down to Provo). Employees will be pulling cable, using various hand and power tools, while helping to install telecommunications systems.
Seeking for candidates looking to get into the Telecom industry that will feel comfortable working at new construction sites that will feel comfortable
working with hand tools and small power tools. Needing to hire two general laborers that will feel comfortable traveling/driving to the various project sites in Salt Lake. Will be working at large commercial facilities, office buildings, schools, industrial sites, etc. Seeking for candidates that are looking to make a career in the telecom industry.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The General Laborers will run wire and install telecom cable. Route cable through modular furniture. Perform pre-termination procedures: organize,
form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables. Suspend and support cable correctly and other general labor construction duties.
Eventually the general laborer will be trained on how to perform other technical tasks and trained as a Telecom Tech.
The General Laborer, must be able to work in an outdoor or indoor in a new construction work environment or existing buildings while being remodeled
Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
Basic construction industry knowledge preferred.
Ability to work 40 hour work week + some OT.
Education High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Shift . Day starts at 6am and will work 8-9 hours daily, will offer OT.
Pay: $20-23/hour DOE
Candidates must be able to submit to a drug and bac kground check.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
