Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in Boulder, Colorado

Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Systems Engineer to join the team in Boulder, CO. This position is in support of the Enterprise Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Solution (EOS) program. Please note this position is contingent upon contract award which is expected in Jan 2025
In this role you will:
• Integrate into a small, high-performing Product Team lead
• Develop Minimum Viable Product (MVPs) for a critical part of the EOS System
• Support daily Scrum Meetings, Team Demos, and monthly Staff Calls
• Work under very general supervision in support of larger team goals
• Support Ad hoc tasking and stretch assignments as outlined by Program Technical Stakeholders
• Be able to perform Systems Engineering (Use Case development, requirements decomposition, activity diagrams, et. al)
• Be well versed in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and its associated functions
Basic Qualifications:
• SysML (System Modeling Language) experience
• Familiarity with testing and problem solving for integrated systems
• Experience with Integration and Verification Testing
• Experience developing and executing test plans
• Knowledge of and able to navigate UNIX systems
• Active or Current Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Experience with Cameo, Visio, Rational Rhapsody or equivalent SysML Tools
• Ability to work daily at the Prime Contractor site
• Current TS/SCI security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
