Typical Day in the Life The Tax Associate/Senior Associate will be responsible for working with clients to assist them with the transition of wealth from one generation to the next. This assistance will include: Preparing fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by required deadlines. Working with the tax and wealth transition team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed. Working with the national Wealth Transition Services team on various projects. Working with clients to ensure relevant tax-related information is gathered so that an accurate tax return can be prepared. Looking at the tax situation of the individual and their estate from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied. Attending professional development and training seminars on a regular basis. Effectively interacting with all levels of staff, clients, and other external business contacts. Who You Are You have excellent communication skills. You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies. You have a knack for solving problems and easily notice issues while bringing solutions to the table. In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, valid CPA license or working towards obtaining CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted, and have 1 or more years of experience in public accounting tax work. Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship. Benefits and Compensation Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Salary Range: $68,000-$98,000
