ManpowerGroup Critical Facilities Technician - Electrical 2 in Boydton, Virginia

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure solutions, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2 to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2, you will be part of the technical operations team supporting essential facility functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2

Location: Boydton, VA

Pay: $36-$38/hour

Night Shift: 12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)

What's the Job?

  • Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 role description.

  • Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).

  • Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems quarterly and annually.

  • Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrument sensors and calibration.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers or critical infrastructure.

  • All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).

  • Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or varied work weeks.
