Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Physical Therapist in Bridgewater, NJ. The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services in accordance with the New Jersey Practice Act, standards of accreditation and State regulatory bodies, and the Code of Ethics of the APTA

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy at the Bachelor s or Master s level

• Licensed in NJ

Preferred:

• Active membership in a professional organization

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions remove when posting):

• Day Shift, 40 hours/week

• Full Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills are required for intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication

• Examines and evaluates patients upon referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist, or nurse practitioner

• Plans and implements specific treatment for patients to reverse impairments, restore function, and facilitate the development of skills essential for adaptive and productive living

• Participates in PI and physical therapy clinical education programs
