Texas State Job Bank Maintenance Electrician in Brookshire, Texas
**Evening Shift/ Second Shift
- Responsible for the execution of administrative building maintenance processes within ELIN ENERGY LLC
- Taking daily electrical meter readings
- Ensuring the daily checks of compressors and auxiliary facilities
- Resolving administrative building plumbing/electrical issues
- Addressing camera system malfunctions and performing installations
- Carrying out new cable installations
- Completing electrical tasks during office interior changes and telephone relocations
- Responsible for keeping the production machines operational at the factory
- Promptly intervening in electrical and mechanical malfunctions within the factory and the building
- Providing support in mechanical maintenance activities, odic maintenance of equipment and ensuring proper documentation on related forms
- Identifying root causes of malfunctions and implementing necessary preventive measures while reporting to superiors
- Maintaining the functionality of fire detection and suppression systems
- Offering corrective and preventive suggestions to minimize downtime
- Ensuring proper documentation on maintenance shift activity forms
- Preparing material withdrawal forms for the spare parts warehouse and notifying superiors about required orders
- Participating in stocktaking activities in the spare parts warehouse
- Continuously improving equipment efficiency and reducing downtime
- Receiving training on new machine installations from manufacturers or superiors
- Actively using the maintenance management module to document solutions for malfunctions and the usage of spare parts during maintenance
- Ensuring the continuous inspection of devices with annual planned maintenance (transformers, switchboards, generators, robots, compressors, chillers, water pumps, and HVAC units)
- Accompanying third-party firms during the yearly periodic maintenance of equipment
- Ensuring the organization and orderliness of the workshop and spare parts warehouse following the 5S principles
- Maintaining organized records of material withdrawals from the spare parts warehouse
- Being responsible for assigned tools, equipment, and instruments
- Responsible for the electrical maintenance activities within the Maintenance department of ELIN ENERGY LLC
- Keeping data entries up-to-date and complete throughout the process
- Monitoring and researching new methods and developments in their expertise areas, and presenting beneficial findings to their supervisor and the team
- Meeting the expectations of the superior by providing timely and comprehensive feedback, reports, and information
- Performing other tasks as required by the superior and within the scope of similar job profiles
- Adhering to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety practices during job activities
