Continental Test and Validation Engineer Intern in Budapest, Hungary

At the Continental Autonomous Mobility Hungary, and its Artificial Intelligence Development and Application Development centres, we are creating the next generation of software solutions to power safety-critical systems and enable autonomous driving features in new vehicles around the globe. We are working towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate thousands of fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. Our aim is to develop cutting edge techniques that sense and understand the vehicle environment.
Our teams develop software solutions for radar application projects and automated parking solutions, processing various automotive sensor data and providing a robust, scalable output to driving function modules.
Your Task
You will be assisting in the daily work of full-time Test Automation Engineers, such as:
Implementation of maintainable, scalable, automated tests in Python
Test environment development
Development of internal tools and frameworks
Documentation and verification of implemented testcases, tools, and supporting functions
Collaboration with our international testing teams
Involvement into the Group’s process development, and everyday tasks.
Ongoing studies at a Hungarian university (Bsc or Msc) for 3 completed semesters at least in a technical area: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
Experience with Python programming language
Good command of English and Hungarian languages
Able to work min. 24 hours/week.
Nice To Have
Basic experience with OOP programming languages (preferably Python)
Experience with Git/GitHub
Experience with CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
