Brief Job Description
The Department of Business at the State University of New York Buffalo State University invites applications for the tenure-track position in Management at the Assistant Professor level for Fall 2025.
The ideal candidate is qualified to teach courses in management such as Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Accounting, and other management-related courses. Candidates are expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level. The candidate will be responsible for service at the department, university, and community levels including collaborating with other appropriate faculty to revise, update, and create new curriculum as well as contributing through published scholarship.
The Department of Business will merge with the Department of Economics & Finance and the Department of Public Administration in Fall 2025
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. Business Administration from AACSB accredited institution. ABD will be considered; Degree conferral must be on or before 8/31/2025.
Teaching experience in various management courses.
A research agenda focused on management or related disciplines.
Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a diverse community of students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience teaching courses in areas such as Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Management Information System, Marketing, Accounting, and other management related courses.
Record of refereed publications and/or presentations.
Demonstrated business and/or management experience.
Demonstrated service at the department, university, and/or community level.
Demonstrated success in program, course, or curriculum development.
