Construction Trades Staffing Heavy Equipment Mechanic in BUFFALO, New York
Must have experience working with diesel engines and hydraulic systems Inspect, test, and diagnose faulty operations and parts Perform regular equipment safety and maintenance inspections Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other components of heavy machinery Disassembling and reassembling heavy equipment and components Ordered parts necessary for equipment repair and maintenance Used diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and identify necessary repairs. Work with operators to understand any issues and problems with the machinery. Use hydraulic jacks or hoists as required Keep logs of work and report any issues. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Comply with safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe Proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of heavy equipment and trucks. Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift). Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and
