JOB DESCRIPTION
Be a member of a DT system administration team of 10 that provide day-to-day DT operational support of several secure lab environments across the Client Cedar Rapids sites
o Description of duties:
You will support a variety of physical clients, servers, storage and networking equipment in restricted or secure laboratory spaces at the Client Aerospace Cedar Rapids sites
You will maintain cyber compliance standards on Client DT systems
You will help in virtual Infrastructure Support
You will resolve technical challenges using proven troubleshooting approaches and methodologie
You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team and/or leads cross-functional initiatives.
You will build strong relationships with customers and peers.
You will foster relationships with your DT peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Client.
You will learn how to stride with little instruction from leadership.
o Required qualifications
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must have active Secret Security clearance at start of employment.
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Network devices (managed switches, routers, firewalls) and network protocols (TCP/IP, etc)
Experience with Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, etc.)
Strong computer literacy - including x86 based hardware, Microsoft/Linux/Unix operating systems and systems administration.
Security certifications (Security+, GICSP/SSCP, GSEC, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISSP.)
o Desired Qualifications
Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.)
Experience with Compliance frameworks (RMF, DFARS)
Applying best practices in system security and cyber hardening for design of DT solutions, including segmented computing environments, managed data transfers, patching and vulnerability management. (STIG, etc)
Proven success working within large, multi-disciplined teams in a fast, dynamic environment to achieve a common technical solution and resolving complex problems. Knowledge of agile project methodologies and concepts is a plus.
