Siemens Energy Maintenance Electrician A (3x12 weekend night shift) in Charlotte, North Carolina
A Snapshot of Your Day
The primary purpose of this position is to repair and maintain CNC machinery, Manual Controlled machinery (NC), and instrumentation, and other plant equipment for Siemens Energy, Inc. in an optimum state of repair with maximum operating efficiency and minimum downtime.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Diagnose and correct problems associated with equipment performance on complex electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and machine lubrication systems
Perform electrical preventative maintenance (PM’s) per the provided check-sheets for machines and equipment. May set alignment checking methods, help to evaluate data, and perform and/or coordinate required adjustments
Diagnoses, installs, repairs, tests, and may calibrate complex AC and DC electrical systems, such as motor-starting circuits, AC magnetic circuits, pilot device systems, pressure and limit switches, and solenoid valves
Determine replacement parts and be able to submit part material requisitions
What You Bring
Pass the Electrician A Test
Demonstrate basic knowledge of Siemens 840D and Step 7 or Fanuc controls
Familiarization and training in LOTO and high voltage
Minimum 3 years of electrician experience
High School Diploma or equivalent experience (additional relevant miliary or school training accepted)
Vision must be correctable to 20/40, lift more than 25 pounds, and pass a hearing test..
