As a Patient Safety Companion with Crozer Health, this is a great opportunity for those looking to get their foot in the door and become part of a clinical community within healthcare. This is an entry level role where you will sit with and observe patients who are deemed to be a safety risk if left unattended. You will work and learn along side clinicians of various levels and be a key part to patient safety and the mission of caring for others.

  Responislbities:

• Follow all isolation precautions according to policy and procedures

• Assist with feeding the patient

• Assist patient with walking

• Accompany patient for tests, procdures and transfers

• Understanding the need for providing a safe environment

• Act immediately to mitigate risk

• Monitor and document patient behavior

  Requirements:

• High School Education or equivalent preferred

• Previous hospital or healthcare experience a plus

• Willingness to learn and desire to understand patient safety required
