ManpowerGroup Production Team Lead in Chicago Heights, Illinois
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Team Lead to join their team. As a Team Lead, you will be part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to lead by example, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Team Lead
Location: Chicago Heights, IL
Pay Range: $24.50 per hour
Shift: 3rd (10pm-6am)
What's the Job?
Listen and support operators and Team Leads to optimize their commitment and involvement in improvement.
Support and perform “leader standard work” scheduled audits.
Notify supervisor of any non-standard issues with production or personnel.
Assist with supervision and team members in continuous improvement (PPS activities).
Facilitate and lead daily departmental meetings.
What's Needed?
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals up, down, and across the organization.
Willingness to maintain, audit, and improve departmental 5-S standards.
Capability to work shifts for overall leadership, teamwork, and direction of the department.
Commitment to meet departmental goals and objectives (KPIs) that contribute to overall company goals.
