We are on the hunt for a meticulous Data Analyst to join our client's team based in Chicago but working 100% remote. The primary function of this role is to utilize Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) content expertise to manage and maintain our Reporting Catalog, ensuring its precision, quality, and completeness. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and is a part of the Commercial Excellence team, contributing to the success of our brand partners through enhancement of our category taxonomy and company-brand ownership models.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of the Reporting Catalog by leveraging CPG Content subject matter expertise.

• Manage and maintain detailed information about various products by demonstrating strong data analysis skills.

• Contribute to the success of our Brand Partners by enhancing our category taxonomy and company-brand ownership models.

• Improve Catalog data and the product content that powers our Marketplace in support of our partners and customers.

• Utilize technical proficiency and CPG expertise to deliver a unique blend of content management and data management.

• Use tools such as Apache Spark, Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects Technologies, Erwin Data for efficient data analysis and management.

• Apply Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of data reporting.

• Leverage skills in Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Requirement Document to support business decisions and processes.

• Uphold best-in-class standards and attention to detail to ensure that excellent CPG content is not just data.

Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in Apache Spark is expected

• Previous experience with Atlassian Jira is required

• Familiarity with BusinessObjects Technologies is a must

• Proficiency in Erwin Data is essential

• Proven experience in Gap Analysis is needed

• Expertise in AB Testing is desirable

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology is required

• Strong background in Analytics is crucial

• Extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is required
