Acosta Group Sr Account Executive (CPG) in Chicago, Illinois

DESCRIPTION

This is an excellent #opportunity for a results-driven professional to contribute to innovative marketing solutions while fostering strong client relationships .

You will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications, project execution, and strategic planning. You will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines and budgets, and ensure that marketing initiatives align with client objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Initiate and lead regular client status meetings to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Expand client relationships beyond routine communication to drive business growth.

  • Write and distribute meeting recaps within 24 hours.

Project Execution & Strategic Planning:

  • Oversee all ongoing projects, anticipating upcoming needs and ensuring seamless execution.

  • Develop creative briefs and coordinate with creative teams for project development.

  • Support account leads in presenting creative solutions to clients.

  • Ensure that recommended program solutions align with clients' sales and marketing goals.

  • Work closely with the retail field and client teams to develop strategic marketing concepts.

Budget & Timeline Management:

  • Manage project budgets and timelines, keeping internal and client teams informed of any changes.

  • Assist in developing monthly client billing estimates and profitability assessments.

  • Monitor changes in project scope that may impact budget or timing.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and guide team members to ensure project success.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing strategies.

  • Facilitate creative processes and manage presentations to clients.

  • Ensure compliance with agency processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of agency experience in retail or consumer packaged goods marketing preferred.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Self-starter with analytical problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent deadlines effectively.

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Research and analysis experience is a plus.
