Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Support implementation of the Digital Thread in new program areas needing to implement Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Champion the deployment of new and existing Digital Thread environments, and consult with programs on the implementation
Identify, document, and champion engineering automation best practices and improvements which help engineers be more productive
Engage strategic vendors of Model Based Systems Engineering technology for application updates and problem solving which address Engineering needs
Proactively manage priorities and organize work schedule in a dynamic environment
Execute day to day application maintenance, deliver application upgrades and related planning, and deliver user support
Responsible for responding/delegating support cases from application customers
Configure and troubleshoot application alerts from monitoring tools and follow SOPs to resolve or escalate appropriately
Drive customer communication during critical events and lead retrospective meetings
Drive a higher level of customer satisfaction by improving support team quality, knowledge, and training
Drive root cause investigation implementing any learnings or improvement opportunities
Drive projects that improve customer experience, application process or performance with minimal guidance
Assist & own the preparation of end user support documentation and knowledge
Proactively plan for upcoming changes
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members
Inform and train all support teams on new/changed processes/services and drive operational process rigor
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
Ensure support team readiness and availability
Investigate the possibilities of automation for self-service of end user support
Partner with Engineering process owners to align MBE tool capabilities with engineering processes, evaluate, change, and transition to operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of 5 years of professional experience, OR associate degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience. Professional experience must be in software operations, IT operational or technical engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the application of engineering tools/solutions Systems Engineering and Model Based Engineering Tools, specifically Cameo Enterprise Architect and Teamwork Cloud
Detailed working knowledge (including day to day use on a program) of Modeling tools in the areas of Architecture, Design, and IV&V (e.g. Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud)
Excellent written and oral communications skills including presentation and negotiation skills, preparing management level briefings and summary explanations
Proven problem-solving skills and experience
NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Desired Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Cassandra database cluster implementation, optimization, and maintenance
Experience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methods
Experience working in a multi-site Enterprise environment including facilitating cross organizational solutions in response to diverse objectives
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Experience with Linux and AWS DevCloud server deployments
Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Enterprise Architect experience
Java, Python, Oracle, MySQL, Web Application Development and/or Syndiea skills and experience
Understand concepts and demonstrated experience of setting and driving technical direction
Familiar with elements of gathering functional requirements
Understand technical standards & concepts to apply to project work
Interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
Proven track record of change agent
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
Self-directed with demonstrated ability to organize and provide technical leadership for a diverse (both geographic and technical) team
Additional Information:
The base pay range for this position is $127,900-$213,200 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 1st, 2025.
