Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
You will layout, fit, fabricate, and assemble components for Heat Processing Equipment. Your work will include assembly, dismantling, and repair activities.
Responsibilities
Layout, position, align, and fit components together.
Clamp and tack weld parts to secure proper positioning for welding.
Set up equipment and weld parts using Stick, ARC, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
Assemble parts by welding and riveting methods.
Square and level structures.
Perform tasks with sheet metal, including fabricating oven panels and applying insulating materials.
Weld, cut, and grind on plate and structural materials.
Repair or modify products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling them.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
Experience in fabricating with carbon steel.
Ability to bend metal and cut angles.
Experience working with structural steel 1/4"+ gauge thick.
10+ years of welding experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to pass weld and quick math tests.
Strong fabrication skills.
Experience with sheet metal and insulation application.

Work Environment
The position is based in a manufacturing environment where noise levels may be high. Candidates are required to have work boots, though steel toes are not necessary. The role involves 25% welding and the rest of the time will be spent on fabricating, building, prepping material, and installing insulation.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chino, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
