JOB REQUIREMENTS: As NWC\'s Building and Grounds Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the operation and maintenance of the facility which includes building and grounds, maintenance, power plant, etc. Responsibilities include: Overseeing the repair and maintenance of NWC buildings and equipment. Overseeing the upkeep of the grounds, fleet services, and the functions of the energy plant operations and accompanying utilities. Providing consultation and technical expertise in the planning, design, construction, remodeling, and maintenance of the facility. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimally qualified applicants will have all the following: Experience in a leadership or supervisory role (e.g., training, assigning and reviewing work, interviewing applicants, providing performance feedback, etc.) Experience planning or overseeing buildings and grounds operations. Experience managing or leading a preventative maintenance program. Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following: Experience managing or overseeing complex building systems such as heating, cooling and refrigeration systems, electrical systems, fire prevention systems, etc. Experience or training in risk management (e.g., monitoring safety and compliance, participating in accident or injury investigations, implementing corrective actions, etc.).
