Police Officer, Public Safety & Security, First Shift UC Health is hiring a full-time Police Office for the Public Safety and Security department for the first shift at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. ``` - Minimum High School Education or GED. Some college, preferably in Criminal Justice or related field preferred. - Hospital Security / Police preferred. - Must have graduated from an approved Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy as a police officer and eligible for State of Ohio commission as a police officer. - Must possess the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) certification or Ohio State Patrol certification (OSP) as a Police Officer with the minimum hours of training required by OPOTA, and not have a break in service as a commissioned police officer for more than one (1) year. - Previous Police Officer experience preferred. - Must pass a psychological exam provided by UC Health prior to officially start employment.
