Swanson Rink's Senior Mechanical Engineer's partner with our clients and team members to execute complex projects. As the mechanical engineering representative of the design team this position is an on-site role to facilitate a 5-year project to design and construct a manufacturing facility outside of Cincinnati, OH. This requires a dedicated, experienced engineer who can work with an ever-changing facility to achieve both short term goals as well as assist in executing their master plan.

Your Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for the mechanical engineering and design of assigned projects.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and design experience in the following: HVAC systems, including selection of HVAC equipment for building applications, central HVAC plant systems, plumbing and sprinkler fire protection systems, and fire suppression systems.
- Demonstrate expert application of local and national building codes and all applicable safety codes and industry standards and International Building Codes, including building, mechanical, plumbing, fire, and fuel gas codes.
- Provide mentoring and training to mechanical staff.
- Proficiently delegate portions of design work to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff.
- Provide leadership by functioning as a sought-after technical and project-procedures information resource.
Requirements:
Your Requirements and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
