Our Mechanical Engineers have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with high-profile clients who are passionate about their facilities and work in a collaborative process to find the right solutions for their unique needs.

Swanson Rink's Senior Mechanical Engineer's partner with our clients and team members to execute complex projects. As the mechanical engineering representative of the design team this position is an on-site role to facilitate a 5-year project to design and construct a manufacturing facility outside of Cincinnati, OH. This requires a dedicated, experienced engineer who can work with an ever-changing facility to achieve both short term goals as well as assist in executing their master plan.

Your Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical lead for the mechanical engineering and design of assigned projects.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and design experience in the following: HVAC systems, including selection of HVAC equipment for building applications, central HVAC plant systems, plumbing and sprinkler fire protection systems, and fire suppression systems.
  • Demonstrate expert application of local and national building codes and all applicable safety codes and industry standards and International Building Codes, including building, mechanical, plumbing, fire, and fuel gas codes.
  • Provide mentoring and training to mechanical staff.
  • Proficiently delegate portions of design work to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff.
  • Provide leadership by functioning as a sought-after technical and project-procedures information resource.

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
