The Business Analytics Grp Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Excellent commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
Responsibilities:
Develop and articulate analytical framework to solve business challenges
Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of customer behavior
Lead and develop reporting subordinates, especially around developing sound analytical approach to solve business problems
Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization
Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies
Ensure robust quantity control in the analytical processes
Cross functional leadership (communication and influencing) to drive towards common goal
The incumbent will leverage industry best practices, navigate and leverage internal relationships and become the key point of contact to ensure delivery and adoption
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience
Experience in financial services
Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems
Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data
An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities
Market research experience.
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

WEALTH MANAGEMENT BUSINESS ANALYTICS SR. MANAGER
This role will be responsible for the ownership and management of a number of strategic initiatives and core functions impacting the Patrimonial and Privada segments, Investments Product Strategy, client experience and supporting sales management.
This individual will lead a team of talented professionals with the mandate to deliver timely, insightful, and actionable data and analytics that guide our decision making and performance evaluations. Will be responsible in setting accurate goals for all Bankers, Sales Offices and Divisions, aligned with Business Financial plan, allowing correct incentives calculations. Variable Compensations Programs also will be designed and implemented by this person.
The position will partner closely with all parts of the Wealth Management including sales teams, business managers, product specialists, Human Resources, Finance and Marketing.
Our choice candidate will be a detail oriented strategic thinker with a passion for data. This individual will have the ability to simplify the complex and extract key insights and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand business objectives and the key behaviors that will drive results
Partner with Sales Management to define and track a robust set of key performance indicators
Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
Implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights
Ensure accuracy and quality of all analytics produced
Oversee the production of key sales metrics/processes, Periodic Account Plan reviews, and other thematic sales activities
Leverage our research capabilities to identify opportunities for growth, and to assist in our client onboarding processes
Oversee the data analyses required to support key client communications
Support ad-hoc analyses related to sales initiatives, product launches, regulatory impact analyses, and more
Become a trusted partner and advisor across the organization in all matters of data analysis
Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance
Keep abreast of industry news and trends
Experience/Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred
10+ years of financial services experience
Advanced competency in MS Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint is required
Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and make decisions
Ability to build relationships and partner across a complex organization
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projects
Ability to influence seniors and stakeholders outside of your span of control
Excellent time management, follow-through, and project delivery skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complexity

Familiarity with Wealth Management processes is a plus
