Job Description The Construction Program Manager will lead significant laboratory construction projects. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and handover, ensuring successful delivery of projects for start-up and operations by laboratory staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Develops the project execution plan and selects the project delivery strategy and procurement strategy within the overarching project scope, funding and framework. * Ensure an effective project control strategy is implemented for scheduling, cost/forecasting, change control management, physical progress/ productivity measurement, invoicing, resource management, documents management. * Responsible for the quality and delivery of the project * Liaison with municipal authorities for permitting process * Evaluates site conditions and develop construction scope of work * Prepares budgetary pricing through final pricing for construction bids * Develops and executes project scope, cost and schedule risk management mitigation measures * Prepares internal project status and risk mitigation reports to executive leadership * Leads project meetings with internal client during the design phase of the projects * Collaborates with Internal cross functional team members on proposals and client strategies including operations, finance, legal and 3rd party service providers (architects, contractors etc.) * Develops and maintains strong relationships with subcontractor networks * Understands, navigates, self-educates on existing/new local building codes * Stays up to dates with new building products and improvements in construction * Descopes subcontractors to confirm their estimates fall within defined project scope * Provides on-going support for Site Superintendents through duration of projects * Develops and ensures construction schedule alignments with client and site Superintendents * Liaise with National Service Center teams for funding, budgeting, etc. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Minimum of 10 years of large and complex construction project management experience in Commercial Construction * Laboratory build outs experience is a plus * Construction cost estimating experience * Construction procurement, bid solicitation and evaluation experience * Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience * Fluent in English Speaking and Written * Legally able to work in USA without sponsorship KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES * Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required * Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts and conditions * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced envir Apply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjIwMDgyLjEwNTA4QGV1cm9maW5zdXNjb21wLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ
