ManTech Senior Program Financial Analyst in Coffeyville, Kansas

ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional, and service-oriented Senior Program Financial Analyst to join our team.

The Senior Program Financial Analyst (PFA) provides on-site project management and administrative support for complex contracts, projects, or business units. This role includes a wide range of responsibilities such as contract accounting, project scheduling, fiscal planning, payroll processing, contract administration, purchasing, and facility management. The Senior PFA develops and maintains contract budgets, prepares billing, and estimates costs and delivery schedules. They oversee personnel records and facility administration, ensuring smooth operations and compliance. Additionally, the Senior PFA acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis, preparing special reports and studies, and resolving reporting and compliance issues. They interface with top management, respond to financial inquiries, and coordinate with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate compliance. The Senior PFA also assists in developing plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program. They assist managers in establishing program requirements, monitor progress compared to the plan, and report, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create Monthly Reports comparing Actual to Forecast.

  • Research and respond to financial inquiries from Manager.

  • Monitor and report performance against plans.

  • Audit expense reports, timesheets, and purchase requisitions.

  • Review PR requisitions, Prepare and review Travel Authorizations, Expense Reports, Journal Entries, Voucher, and Labor Adjustments.

  • Review and research additional information as needed and resolve the conflicts to ensure vendor/employee payments in a timely manner.

  • Build, maintain and manage forecasting models (EACs/ETCs). Gather inputs from project and program managers. Advise how various scenarios of possible operational decisions affect contract revenue, DL, profit, remaining funding, subcontractor funding, and other financial and contractual aspects.

  • Manage, maintain, and monitor subcontractor funding and expenditures.

  • Meet accounting Close Cycle deadlines (e.g. review and update accruals; review and prepare financial data for billing)

  • Provide timely updates to your PMs, subcontractors, and other team-members.

  • Assist with analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned portions of a program or programs..

  • Backfill others while on vacation or out of the office.

  • Be available outside of basic operating hours during peak times to ensure all expectations are met.

  • Communicate & coordinate between vendors, ManTech departments and program team.

  • Analyze and process Program specific documents for completeness and readiness for closure.

  • Any assigned duties or tasks that are necessary for the Finance team to meet expectations.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

  • Must be US Citizen.

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Business Administration) or equivalent, and 5+ years of related (project support or management) experience.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage deadlines.

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, project planning and control, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Must understand cost reconciliation.

  • Process improvement experience, with the ability to create efficiencies.

  • Ability to use corporate tools to run reports, track costs, report impacts.

  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

  • Strong Excel experience

  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and Workday highly recommended.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
